座談將從材質出發，觸及身體、勞動與時間在創作中所留下的痕跡，打開更多屬於當代雕塑與內在感知的可能性。

對談人：陳貺怡

國立臺灣美術館館長。巴黎第十大學藝術史博士、長期關注當代藝術與文化策展，視野橫跨歷史與社會，深入實踐藝術如何在制度、文化與公共空間中發聲。她相信，美術館是建構文化認同的平台，藝術是屬於日常的詮釋與對話，也是一種動態的身體記憶。

Hsu Yung-Hsu × Kuang-Yi CHEN｜Artist Dialogue

When the body becomes a tool, clay begins to speak in the language of time.

On December 6 (Sat.) at 3:00 PM, we invite you to join the conversation “Hsu Yung-Hsu × Kuang-Yi CHEN｜Artist Dialogue” at San Gallery・Kaikosha for an in-depth discussion on the body, labor, and the sculptural vocabulary shaped through making.

For this dialogue, we are honored to welcome Dr. Kuang-Yi CHEN, Director of the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts. As an art historian with a PhD from Université Paris Nanterre and a long-standing scholar of contemporary art and curatorial culture, her perspective bridges history and society. Her research explores how art speaks within institutions, culture, and public space. She believes that museums help build cultural identity, and that art belongs to everyday interpretation, dialogue, and the living memory of the body.

In conjunction with Hsu Yung-Hsu’s solo exhibition “lūn-lūn”, this talk begins with materiality and expands toward the traces of the body, labor, and time embedded in the creative process, opening new possibilities for understanding contemporary sculpture and inner perception.
